Can a protein supplement play a role in a good diet and balanced nutrition? In most cases, it is better to get all nutrition from natural food sources. Protein, one of the building blocks of good nutrition, can be found in a number of different food sources, both animal and plant based. However, in today's fast paced world, it is difficult to get the right nutrition from the foods that we eat. There are well over 34 million men, women and children in the United States of America that count as being clinically obese or worse, as morbidly obese.

Morbid obesity is defined as a medical disease that is related not only to lifestyle and diet but to genetics and body makeup as well. Of these people, the majority of them will face a lifetime of other diseases and problems, including: cardiovascular diseases and Protein World damage, joint pain and trauma, diabetes, cancer and a vast array of others.Food is the building block of our bodies. We need proper nutrition through every stage of life to be at the best health possible. No matter what we eat, when we eat it or how much of it we eat, all foods are broken down in the same way:

Into one of three major components. These components are proteins, fats and carbohydrates. It is a myth that calories from a fat and from a carbohydrate are different from each other. Once the body breaks down food, it is down to its basic component and will be used as energy immediately, stored for later use or stored as fat.People are always concerned with what supplements they should be buying to get the best results, specifically- about proteins. There has long been a great debate between Whey and Casein proteins, and which one is best for bodybuilding.
